VirtualSC PD is proud to announce that the Read to Succeed courses we are offering this Fall are based on the new South Carolina Literacy Competencies. These new courses are now considered to be entirely different as they align with the new Science of Reading content. That means participants can take these new courses for renewal credit, even if they have already taken corresponding courses that were aligned to the old competencies.

If you have taken the old courses and are wondering if they are still valid, Educator Services has stated that they still accept certificates completed during the prior iteration of the courses for renewal credit.
