Based on the belief that students in K-12 schools need leaders who promote and love literacy, this course explores how shared literacy leadership can establish strong literacy programs in schools. The course will examine how collaboration with the primary stakeholders (parents) and creating a culture of literacy, schools and districts can be more successful. As well, issues of equity in literacy will be explored and how these issues impact literacy learning.
