It is self-paced, with an enrollment period of 60 days, which begins immediately upon confirmation of registration. A Help Forum is included in the course that will be carefully monitored by an online facilitator.

This professional development course offers an in-depth look at practical support for teachers and administrators involved in Distance Learning. In this course, participants will be presented with both easy-to-use examples of how to manage a distance learning class and examples of how to educate students from a distance. Participants will have an opportunity to plan distance learning activities that integrate online collaborative tools to engage students in different ways. Participants will also explore examples of familiar tasks and ideas that can be modified at a distance to ensure students learn. This course provides information to support teachers and administrators as they shift all or some of their instruction to distance learning.
